Jim and Mindy Phypers have been successful in doing what Tucson's Solar Village and other advocates of solar energy have not yet been able to do: Demonstrate the feasibility and cost effectiveness of both active and passive solar installations, wind generation of electrical energy, and water harvesting strategies.
