"A MAJOR CHANGE IN DIRECTION"
For reasons primarily related to Jim's health but also for financial reasons, Jim and Mindy Phypers have moved permanently to southern Mexico, first in Veracruz, Mexico, and now relocating in the Yucatan Peninsula. The first Solar Haven in Arizona has been sold. Jim's health has improved and plans are underway to establish a model off-grid Eco-community in the forest of the Yucatan. Consider volunteering and giving us a helping hand and perhaps even joining the community at a future date. There is no buy-in fee, just a committment to live by our sustainability guidelines. The land is actually leased from the "Solar Haven Land Trust" for $30 a month. You build your own house which is yours, but it may only be traded or sold to other members of the community, not sold on the open real estate market. See the Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage for an awesomely successful example of this system. They are our mentors.
